New Product Reveal Nov 2020

My name is Keadi-Ann and I own Kdez Closet . I wanted to share a little about my journey to this new series.

In the past I use to be afraid to try things. However, life has a way of putting you through some roads that will mold you. Through many life experiences, reading and living vicariously  through others,  it's truly developed me for the better. It has pushed me into being alot more open to trying  new things. If your dreams don't scare you , they are not big enough.

I had an idea to do lip gloss and it was on my mind  heavily.  The universe  loves action so at that point I decided I would do some heavy research. The first two batches I made was terrible.  I didnt let that stop me. I was determined  to perfect it.

When I got to a point where I was happy with the mixture. I gave out alot of samples to several of my friends  and asked them for candid feedback.  Once they gave me that information,  I went back into my lab and perfected it. During my process I also decided that making the lip gloss cruelty  free and vegan was the best option. This became number one for me. I had no idea that some lip gloss has cancer  causing ingredients.  That made my heart heavy. It's never an option for anything I carry to hurt another human being.

I have a graphic design  degree so I started working on the label and got it printed.

I went back to those same friends and gave them samples of the final product.  100% of them said thats it!

At that point I felt confident and  I did a soft launch at my private invite only pop up shop for Kdez Closet. It was a hit !

Kdez Lips 💋 has now been born and I am so excited to share it with the world 🌎.

KDEZ CLOSET STORY TIME....

I remember this day like it was yesterday. I had 3 (Wynwood, Midtown, little Haiti) locations going on at the same time .I hired a few people to work for me (including my parents at the Midtown location ), while I worked this event in wynwood. What I didn't know is that there would be torrential  rain and wind  the entire day.  I lost a whole bunch of money and still had to pay out everybody that worked for me.  Some of my products got damaged , the vendors around me as well was trying to recover the best way possible.  I had to take my sandals  off so that my feet wouldn't slip  loll. These women were next to me . We laughed as it kept raining. I appreciated  the positive attitude from them both.I still had a smile on my face because I know that sometimes you win sometimes you lose . But, GOD is amazing because he has provided and replaced that money 10x times over. I am so greatful. One of my good friends said to me "Kd, how do you do this " , my response was "Because I love my business "
